Custom plugins

God Wars II offers a graphical interface in the form of a custom MUSHclient plugin. If you click "screenshots" on the top-right menu, you can see what it looks like in action.

Step 1: Download and install MUSHclient

Click and run the following file, it's a self-extracting zip:

MUSHclient 4.86

It is recommended that you install this in C:\MUSHclient - some players have reported problems when running in C:\Program Files\MUSHclient, particularly with Windows 7.

Step 2: Download and unzip the plugin

Save and extract one of these zip files into your MUSHclient folder:

GW2 Plugin 1.15 with sound

This is the plugin, images and soundpack in one download.

GW2 Plugin 1.15 without sound

This is just the plugin and images, without the soundpack.

Step 6: Download some avatars

The plugin comes with a few sample avatars from the ALL Avatars website, but we're not allowed to distribute more than that - you'll need to download them yourself. Fortunately there are plenty to choose from!

ALL Avatars

Download some avatars, and put them in your MUSHclient\images\avatars folder, copying them over the form you wish to use them for.

Troubleshooting

You can use the "whois" command within the mud to confirm that you're using MUSHclient 4.51 or higher, that your plugin supports MSDP, and that you're using the official plugin:

Type "whois <name>"

Click the above link for a screenshot.
