Thousands of bats swoop and dive, their tiny bodies flapping lazily through the air. They are quite robust, with relatively long and narrow wings and a flexible tail membrane, allowing them to fly very fast and maneuver with considerable control. Most of the bats are grey, brown, or black in color, although the occasional exception can be glimpsed among the cloud. Each bat has a glowing eldritch rune on its head.
