Thousands of bats swoop and dive, their tiny bodies flapping lazily through the air. They are very small, with sac-shaped glands in their wings, and short tails which project through the tail membrane. The bats are mostly brown or grey, although a few of them are white, and some possess throat glands which produce strong-smelling secretions. Each bat has a glowing eldritch rune on its head.
